By now, Julie had accumulated quite a large amount of money from the experiment. Two weeks into the fourth month, she decided to do some house hunting, as her old apartment had long overstayed its welcome.
She walked outside and picked up the daily paper, rubbing her belly absentmindedly in the process. Her stomach, by the way, had grown, giving her the appearance of a woman who was six months pregnant.
